My role is to find sites for a national company throughout Australia and NZ. Recently I was asked to find a site in the Narellan, Gregory Hills area that would accommodate two of our business streams with a combined land area of around 6000m2 and a design and construct area of around 3000m2 over two buildings.
I have found in the past that in the outer lying areas it is always best to work with the agents that have the local knowledge…they understand the geography, they have the contacts and assist with advice on growth corridors and commercial land releases.
In this case I first contacted Michelle Auckland of “Combined Commercial” who had a sound knowledge of all the above. Michelle took the time to gain an understanding of my requirement in terms of location and budget and took me to several sites that she believed that would work for us. Once we decided on the most suitable location that would work for us she worked behind the scenes with developers and contractors alike to create a business proposal that allowed us to negotiate an outcome suitable for both parties.
Often we criticize and comment on poor quality service and rarely take the time to commend those in the industry that have provided that quality of service that is expected and provided, as such I take this as an opportunity to commend Michelle in her “professional business approach” that allowed for a seamless transition of the whole process from start to finish.
I will have no hesitation to utilize the services of Michelle and her team again as the need arises.
